raspberry shortbread

I made these cookies for a new friend date:

Shortbread:

2 cups flour

2 sticks butter softened

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup smushed raspberries

Mix together, add extra flour as deemed necessary, chill.

Roll out between sheets of waxed paper, cut out little circles with a glass, bake at 300 for about 7 minutes, or until they can be scootched around the tray without their bottoms getting stuck.

Let cool, make a little sandwich with two cookies and nutella. Tasty, though the nutella make be overpowering the raspberry. But they’re pretty good.

In other news I have been listening Jenny Lewis pretty much always these days. And it is awesome.
